The first phase of Chengdu metro line 8 project covers a total length of 36.1km and consists of 25 stations. It starts from Xiejiaqiao station in the south and ends at Shilidian station in the north. The route mainly passes through Shuangliu district, Wuhou district, High-tech district, Jinjiang district and Chenghua district. From the south to the north, it mainly via West port avenue, Chuanda road, Zhujiang road, Airport expressway, Yixin avenue, Kechuang road, Gaopeng avenue, XiaoJiaHe street, Fangcao east street, Nijia bridge road, Consulate road, Jinxiu road, Coloured glaze east street, Huiyuan south road, Huiyuan north road, Shuangcheng first road, the second ring road, Shanbao bridge road and Chenghua avenue. There are 25 underground stations. Yuanhua rolling stock depot is located in the southeast quadrant of the round about expressway Baijiachang interchange. It is located in the same location as line 5 and line 9.The control center is located in Cuijiadian station, sharing with line 5, line 6 and line 7.
